I can't believe how violently angry I am at my friends who are upset at their happy lives. I have a friend complaining so much about how she's been so depressed since she just got engaged a few days ago, but hours before her engagement all she did was gloat about how her b/f had bought her ring and how she was so excited about being proposed to...people are people
So it wasn't til a few days ago that I think I came to the conlusion that this year out here in Korea is going to be souly for me to figure out who I am. I'm not really desperatly wanting to make friends out here to be honest, and I've been enjoying the solitude and doing my traveling on my own time w/o any restraints.
I'm also going to take this time to get back in to shape. My goal is 20 pounds all together and I've done a few changes already to make that happen; diet change and lots and lots aed lots of running. Hopefully it'll all play out
I'm going cave exploring this weekend, hopefully I'll have some pics up

so i made it to korea in one piece after once again a hellish travel. i was in the air for nearly 24 hours, ugh! the flight from NY to Korea alone was 14 hours. it was a packed flight at that, but surprisingly no screaming babies, +1.
Korea so far has been interesting to say the least. there's definitly a view of some kind no matter where you go. living arraignments kinda suck, but i'll manage fine. my work office is definitely going to take a lot of getting used to mainly b/c they lied on what i'd be doin!!! cheap shot for sure. the job i applied for had said i'd be fixing computers and workin on the network and all that jazz i'm used to; not the case. instead i'm playing secretary to a 2 star general. down to getting him lunch, drinks, and cleaning his office. >.> ...oh well, it's only a year is how i'm looking at it, and then japan!
need opinions; plasma tv or lcd tv? i'm torn on what to get!!

2 days left to go until I start leaving for Korea, finding myself more and more nervous about this. my trip home to ky was fairly enjoyable, there's never enough time to hang out with everyone; doesn't help everyone's always working or in school. it happens though, and i tried to enjoy myself the best that i could. its weird that i won't be able to come back for so long and even when i do the flights there and back are gonna be killer now! which reminds me i need to get a crap load of triple aaa batteries for my ipod charger. i leave the 18th from the US but don't get to korea til the 20th, way too ridiculously long! i'm in washington dc now with my folks. my dad is getting kinda worse, but i think i've gotten along with him more since he's been sick the last few months then i have the 21 years before he got ill. it's weird how things can change that quick. well anyays, here's a fun video that i can't stop watching and dancing to; sure everyone loves this song:
Well I'm currently on my 3 hour lay-over in Ft Myers, yay. the flight here was interesting to say the least. the plane was only big enough for 8 people tops; such a friendly environment. best part of it all was an old woman who was dressed like she was 20 and reeked of booze. I mean she stunk up to the point I wanted to open the window mid-flight. she eventually passed out, but she was still mumbling in her sleep. SO MUCH FUN!
well anyways, ya, fun times. gotta love the single serving friends you meet on a plane

I wonder why I have the crappiest of luck sometimes, then I always remember this quote:

So I leave for Korea in 14 days, it's crazy crazy crazy feeling. I have no idea what I'm going to be running in to and what not. My thoughts are if it sucks, it's only a year and then it's off to Japan.
Do I have any goals? sure, who doesn't. I want to try and finish up my degree, my sister getting hers kinda made me up my drive to get mine.
I'm also going to be avoiding trying to date weird/psycho bitches; this last relationship I had with Karen was insane and I'm glad to be out of it.

So I also found out where I'm going AFTER Korea now...Kadena Japan (Okinawa). Crazy times are unfolding that's for sure

So over the weekend I was able to wreck my computer, so now I get to invest my tax refund in to a new one, yay! so I probably won't be updating as much as I was hoping.
other then that, things have been kinda blah all in all, still working out things with the g/f, work is becoming so tiring; hurtful/hateful rumors going around saying i'm too burnt out to do any decent work.
i'm in the process of trying to lose some weight, hooray, 20 lbs in 3 months is my goal
my dad also walked out of surgey too, he also got blasted with radiation to get the rest of the cancer out of his body, hopefully it worked well.

so sorry for anyone who doesn't want to hear about my shit, but i need to let this out w/o certain people seeing and LJ is that last kinda place...
so i've been dating a girl on/off for over a year now, she was deployed for 6 months of it, and now that she's back i'm thinking to myself "hooray, things will finally be going better." fuck no they're not. she's talking to guys that i'm not comfortable with at her to talking to, espcially one she's talking to now b/c as soon as i glance over, he's fucking trying to have online sex with her! what the fuck kinda shit is that?! "i'm trying to get you wet honey" "make you want to grab my head, not your pillow when you cum"....what the flying fuck!? and i can't really get out of this relationship now b/c i just signed a lease w/ her for an apartment for a year...i'm so beyond pissed/hurt right now...i want to blow up, but i want to be reasonable, and i'm not sure what to do now...i just want a break from this kinda crap!

as usual, not much has really been going on. I get promoted on thursday which is fun times; ceremony being on friday, party hopefully over the weekend.
i'm on new sleeping meds that are REALLY trippy! anyone who has talked to me knows what i'm talking about, and i apologize to some of those people as well for anything i may've done/said. even though the stuff does put me to sleep like a baby drinking a gallon of warm milk, it makes me act like a drunk person confessing their inner feelings/thoughts.
my sister and i are also planning a vacation to vegas apparently, she wants it to just be me and her and the strip. vegas strip that is, not any other kind, that would be kinda weird.
i also turn 21 in july and it would be awesome if i can get friends down here to come and party it up w/ me; it will definitely be monumental and epic.
new photo taking is in order, i haven't taken any really good photos in so long; maybe it's time to pick it back up? anyone else want to second me on that?
anyways, it's quarter til 3, i should probably hop in bed

so I totally got my early promotion, which was offically announced today. I will be promoted 6 months early and I will have it sewn on in May (if you're in the FL area you should come and see it happen!)

so the other night ago, i was just chillin in my room not able to sleep; when out of nowhere Nine Inch Nails (one of my favorite bands) released a brand new cd out of nowhere. literally, he (NIN being one man) didn't make any news that he was making it or anything, just one day: BAM! you got a new cd. it's cool b/c he doesn't have a record label, so he gets to release his music however the fuck he wants when he wants. he's like a prostitute of the music industry
i'm working on my biology paper right now, i needed a break from typing and learning, and i still need to study for my biology final as well. the paper/presentation are due tomorrow, along w/ that we have our final tomorrow; gah! i also have another test at the end of the week to get my A+ certification...i need a spring break!!!!

So long week I had, and interesting one at that too!
was on honor guard this week, if any of you don't know what that is, it's an additional duty outside of my work office where i partake in funerals for veterans/retirees and such. we also do big events to post colors and what not.
mon/tue was just training, nothing really happened those days.
wednesday i had the day off, so i decided to stay up relax on tuesday night only to get called in early to my regular work on wednesday b/c they needed my help for an exercise that was going on. i hate being dependable
thursday i had a funeral detail that went really well, me and my team were able to get all of our shots off w/ our rifles which is rare. watched beowulf on our drive to the funeral; invented ANOTHER drinking game:

friday i was going to my friend's room to pick up a pair of boots, when i left his room i heard his neighbor totally getting it on with a chick; they were fucking loud (think the girl was fakin, haha). I was half tempted to start pounding on the door and be like "GET 'ER DUDE! GET 'ER!"

today i had to play volly ball during a commander's call, it was quite interesting seeing so many people attempting to play as a team. there was also a sack race and tug-o-war (which was more humors then it was competitive)

so I've officially been nick named: "Waldo" in my biology class b/c of my glasses and my striped sweat shirt. They decided that one out of: Verizon Guy &/or Jared from Subway...I think I'm a good Neil Diamond impersonator myself, haha.
Work is becoming a little bit of a drag b/c all the crap we need to still do to get the place set up.
Next month I'm going to Washington D.C. to visit my folks and sister. they bought my ticket w/o even telling me and told me all I had to do was take the time off. should be interesting all of us together, this hasn't happened in over 5-6 years...creepy.
The AC in our dorm rooms just got rennovated, they now blow cold air no matter what...meaning you can't turn it off and you freeze to death at 60 degrees w/ no control. i'm in fl wearing sweat pants/shirt woot!
Have I mentioned how I miss everyone back home and someone should try to visit me in FL?!
